RAW is the title of the exhibition, that shows my work. It‘s both a photography format and a description of something raw, unfinished. I want to show two kinds of pictures, each exploring a different universe. My portraits show faces of people who have to shout loudly to the extent that it activates some hardware, which in turn activates the camera. This implies that the photographer cannot choose, when the picture is taken, and the model cannot control its facial expression. The pictures shown are a selection of that experiment.
In 2015 I resolved to make a picture every single day A picture without context, without pressure. Sometimes about aesthetics or about photography itself. The only link being the rhythm and my vision on the world.
The exhibition can be visited on September 12, 13, 19 and 20 from 10 am to 8 pm (Norbertijnenkapel, Drongenhof, Patershol, Ghent, Belgium).
